Cash management & customer service
- Manage transactions using cash registers and digital systems.
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
- Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets to customers.
- Cross-sell products and introduce new products for sale.
- Collect payments via cash, credit/debit card or cryptocurrency.
- Balance cash with a supervisor at the end of each shift.
- Guide and facilitate customers, provide relevant information and field complaints.
Orders and operations
- Facilitate orders from clients in person, by phone and via instant messaging.
- Communicate distribution schedules and delivery clearly to clients.
- Develop and maintain new client relationships for expansion.
- Nurture existing WiMart clients to build trust and lifetime value.
- Perform inventory tasks including physical stock checks, pricing, entering inventory and reports.
- Ensure quality service delivery to all relevant stakeholders.
- Assist the management team and road team as needed.
- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout and grocery area.
- Maintain and update financial records and operational logs, including the Commercial Activity Reporting Dashboard (CARD), COGS reporting and expense tracking.
Administrative and marketing support
- Maintain relevant distribution databases and spreadsheets.
- Track and correctly record expenditure and income from clients, including credit sales and receipts.
- Create engaging content involving the WiMart brand where possible.
Requirements
- Project management, problem-solving and people-management skills.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Docs and related products.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Able to multitask, meet deadlines and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Public speaking and sales experience.
- Strong leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
- Ability to apply logical and critical thinking.
- Ability to communicate with suppliers and vendors in a timely, professional manner.
- Commitment to the G.U.E.S.T. customer service principle.
- Proficiency with digital cloud-based POS and inventory management systems.
